Place the patient on a chair or stool, let the operatorstanding hehind him, place his knee against the backof patient on the spinal column, just below the last rib,grasping the patients shoulders and drawing him back-ward over the knee as far as the patient can standwithout too much pain. Always use slow motions,giving the patient time to relax the muscles as much aspossible. This treatment causes a direct pressureupon the solar plexus of nerves, and will cure anycase of diarrhea.
