An Indian maiden runs in, greeted zvith acclaimand hand clapping; she makes a sign to the man at the zvar-drum and begins a dance. The Dance of the Autumn Leaves.Then Sawara, the Medicine-woman, enters. The Indianmaidens offer her gifts zvhich she acknozvledges zvith a gravenod. Enter Kaszvi, an Indian brave. Kaswi.
