Description
English: Fleuron from book:
The religion of nature, which is now set up in opposition to the word of God, proved to be a mere idol from the very Text that has been so often produced in its Favour. In a sermon preach'd in York-Minster, July 8. 1744. At the assizes Holden for the County of York, Before the Honourable Thomas Burnet, Esq; One of His Majesty's Justices of His Court of Common-Pleas; and Charles Clark, Esq; One of the Barons of his Majesty's Court of Exchequer. And now publish'd at the Request of the High-Sheriff, and the Gentlemen of the Grand Jury. By Cha. Willats, M. A. Rector of Plumtree in Nottinghamshire.
