It was horrible!He felt himself suiFocating with the thought of its possi-bilities ! He rose and paced the floor and sat downagain in helpless rage. The door softly opened and closed and the girl stoodbefore him in the white moonlight, her rounded figureplainly showing against the shimmering kimono as thebreeze through the window pressed the delicate silkagainst her flesh.
