The opening of the interurban trolley line between Hartford andSpringfield, Mass., occurred on January 13th, under the auspicesof the Hartford & Springfield Street Railway Co. The first carsover the line left Hartford having on board a number of the officersof the road and officials of the two terminal cities and interveningtowns who were guests of the company.
