These generators are separately excitedand require for excitation when the armature is delivering its fullrated current, 90 amperes at 100 volts. The 750-kw. generators arcdesigned for a speed of 94 r. p. m. being 32-pole machines of therevolving field type. The normal output of these machines at 750kw. will be 1,083 amperes per terminal at 400 volts three-phase witha non-inductive load, and at this load they will require 150 amperesat 100 volts for excitation.
