The power house, located at Engleside, which furnishes power forthe whole of the Conestoga Traction Cos. property and for theLancaster County lighting properties, now has a generating capa-city of 2.000 kw. and is being increased to 3,000 kw. to care for thenew properties now being taken over. The installations which arebeing made include a Westinghouse 1,000-kw. generator, four Bab-cock & Wilcox boilers of 520 h.p. each, a Green fuel economizer,two Cochrane heaters, a 1,500-h.p. direct-connected engine and 12transformers. A reinforced concrete stack 190 ft. high, with an 8-ft.inside diameter has been constructed. Service Stripes for Street Railway Employes. The officials of the Indianapolis, Columbus & Southern TractionCo. have raised the wages of their conductors and motormen andmade arrangements to decorate them
