Drivers to be spokewheels, 15 feet in diameter and covered on both sideswith steel plates joined to the wheel at the rim, quitelike two saucers set face to face and placed on edge.Axles to be of faggotted steel, 12 inches in diameterand 13 feet long, with bearings on both sides of each templated power, current being taken through a six footdiameter horizontal trolley wheel placed beneath the car.In addition to a band brake working on a large drummounted on the driver axles, additional braking force ispro\ided from a series of air resistance plates on the prow.
