Description
English: Gunnery Sgt. Rigoberto M. Torres, from Pomona, Calif., was presented the Purple Heart, March 4, at Camp Pendleton, Calif., by Col. Paul K. Lebidine, the former commanding officer of 3rd Civil Affairs Group and Lt. Col. Stefan M. Dirghalli, the acting commanding officer of 3d CAG, for wounds suffered while conducting combat operations in northern Marjah, Helmand province, Afghanistan Jan. 3, 2011.
