Ses produits occupent sans doute un rang distinguédans ce genre de fabrication , tant par la beauté du noir quepar la pureté du blanc et la netteté de lenlevage ; toutefois ilsne sauraient soutenir la comparaison avec ceux quon exécute enAngleterre, particulièrement dans la maison R. et Th. Peel, deManchester, doù viennent les deux échant. 161, 162 , fondnoir ci-après. Lenlevage a pu être produit dans lun à la plancheou au rouleau, et dans lautre au rouleau seulement. Le blancne laisse rien à désirer, non plus que le noir, qui est beau-coup plus nourri et plus vif que celui des deux échantillons quiprécèdent.
