LINCOLN ODDITY: This unusual tribute to Abraham Lincolnwas made several years ago under the direction of Guy AlHson, ofGlendale, Calif. The letters of the famous address are composedof woods (note the different shadings) he gathered in 3J/2 yearsfrom 11 important places in the life of Lincoln. More than 2,000man hours were required to build the plaque, which measures18x5^ feet. The molding around the plaque is composed of woodsgathered from more than 40 historical spots in the United States.
