  • Inscribed below image: U.S. Frigate St. Lawrence (an old style ship) rigged like I'll not be quite sure about this ships being the St. L. it is here of the Dale will let you known. The Colorado & Wabash are the same as the Roanoake These ships are not here. i.e. The W-h & C-o- but I learn so from sailors. U.S. Frigate Minnesota Commodore Stringham. The Roanoke is the same rig as the M but somewhat larger 18 port holes in her white line-thus. I send these various ships &c They may all be of value sooner or later.
