Robert Hungerford, assuming the role of U.S. Naval Forces Europe NAVEUR) drum major, guides the musicians into position during a rehearsal for the massed military band formation segment of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Edinburgh, Scotland, Aug. 1, 2012. This military tattoo brought together musicians, dancers and bagpipers from around the world and 2012 marked the first time since 1950 that a U. S. Navy band has performed in the show. |
