Description
English: ARABIAN GULF (July 16, 2015) U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, engage targets with their M9 Beretta pistols during a short-range marksmanship qualification course aboard the dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47). The purpose of the course is to refine the basic combat marksmanship skills of the Marines. The 15th MEU is embarked on the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
