English: U.S. Navy Chief Logistics Specialist Arthur Felix, left, observes as Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class David Backer, center, trains Yeoman 3rd Class Mario Ortiz on how to extract wounded personnel from a crashed aircraft during a flight deck firefighting drill aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Tortuga (LSD 46) May 30, 2013, in the South China Sea. The Tortuga, part of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group, was on deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility to participate in Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2013. CARAT is a series of bilateral exercises held annually in Southeast Asia to strengthen relationships and enhance force readiness.
