Description
English: U.S. Sailors salute Navy Chief Counselor Billy Spillers as his coffin is lowered into the ground during his funeral at Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, Wash., April 16, 2014. Spillers and three of his children, Jovon, Kaylee and Brooke, died in a March 22, 2014, mudslide that struck his home and others in Oso, Wash. He was survived by his wife, Jonielle, and their son Jacob. U.S. Service members with the Washington National Guard partnered with state emergency management personnel and civilian volunteers to search for survivors following the mudslide, which affected a rural community 55 miles northeast of Seattle.
