English: A 60K loader with 30,000 personal protection kits were loaded onto a C-17 GlobeMaster III at Charleston Air Base S.C., May 8. The pallets of personal protection kits are destined for Haiti, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua, where health-care officials are responding to confirmed and suspected cases of H1N1 Influenza-A infections. U.S. Southern Command, headquartered in Miami, directed the mission after learning that health officials submitted requests for assistance to U.S. embassies in their respective countries.
