It may be that dead men tell no tales but the bones of dead wolves are tell-tales of the past and future of these 'bad actors' in preying upon domestic animals in western states. Stanley P. Young, left, is making joint scientific studies with the biological survey and the Smithsonian Institution in analyzing the skulls and other bones of wolves as a character study that may lessen their depredations of livestock in the west.
