Image title	080424-N-4790M-194 At Sea (April 24 2008)-- USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) conducts a replenishment at sea (RAS) during the first days of their Spring Swing. During the RAS Blue Ridge received more than 250,000 gallons of diesel marine fuel from USNS Tippecanoe (T-AO 199). A RAS is an effective way for Navy ships to receive supplies without stopping propulsion. Blue Ridge is commanded by Capt. David A. Lausman and serves under Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) 7/Task Force (CTF) 76, the Navy's only forward deployed amphibious force. Blue Ridge is the flagship for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet. Task Force 76 is headquartered at White Beach Naval Facility, Okinawa, Japan, with an operating detachment in Sasebo, Japan.
