Description
English: A UH-N1 Huey helicopter assigned to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron (HMM) 262 lands aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Essex and the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit are preparing to get under way to avoid a tropical storm, predicated to make landfall in the Philippines. Essex is part of the forward-deployed Essex Amphibious Ready Group and is underway in the western Pacific Ocean.
