Description
English: USS George Washington's (CVN 73) command chaplain, Cmdr. Dennis Young, delivers remarks during the ship's library dedication to former command chaplain Capt. Bradford E. Ableson who served aboard George Washington from 2002 to 2004. After his passing, his personal library of several hundred books was donated to the ship by his wife, Julia Ableson. George Washington, the Navy's only permanently forward deployed aircraft carrier, is undergoing maintenance upkeep at Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan, in preparation for its upcoming fall deployment.
