English: U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Miriam Saiz, a medical augmentee embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge, translates a doctors' diagnosis to the mother of a Nicaraguan girl at Juan Comenius High School during a humanitarian assistance project. The amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge is the primary platform supporting the Caribbean phase of Continuing Promise, an equal-partnership mission involving the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Brazil, Nicaragua, Panama, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
