Description
English: Honorable Brad R. Carson, the Under Secretary of the Army, leaves a message ‘Thank you for your service’ to the Soldiers serving in the United Nations Command Security Battalion – Joint Security Area, during his visit to the JSA, November 18, 2014 on Camp Bonifas, South Korea. The JSA wall of fame is signed by celebrities and dignitaries when they visit the Battalion’s Dining Facility as well as Soldiers who serve at the JSA. Notable signees are President Barack Obama; Penny Pritzker, the US Secretary of Commerce and Rep. Michelle Bachmann. The Under Secretary visited the JSA as a part of a fact finding and morale tour. The United Nations Command Security Battalion-Joint Security Area secures the Military Armistice Commission Headquarters Area in order to maintain conditions of the Armistice and protect all United Nations Command personnel, Tae Sung Dong residents, Neutral Nations Supervisory Committee personnel and visitors to Camp Bonifas and the Joint Security Area.
