Description
English: Copper alloy decorative fragment with white metal coating. The copper alloy is extremely corroded and only a patch of the ?silver surface layer survives on a fan-shaped element with 7 ribs defined by narrow grooves. This joins a transversely moulded element, which has a broader centre band (21mm, c. 5mm wide) with traces of beading or notches along the centre. The back is flat and the maximum surviving dimensions are 21mm each way. The broad transverse moulding is 4mm thick, the fan-shaped part thins from 3mm thick. Original size, function and date undetermined.
