Description
English: An incomplete cast copper-alloy unidentified object of probable Roman date, possibly a fragment of a handle from a vessel. The artefact is 20.95mm in length, 14.30mm wide and 7.80 grams.

The artefact consists of a loop and a broadly triangular incomplete projection. The loop is D shaped in cross section and circular in plan. It has an internal diameter of 7.55mm and no wear is visible internally, the outer surface of the loop is abraded. The loop connects to an incomplete projection which is broadly triangular in plan, each face is incomplete, possibly the projection is the attachment to a vessel.
