XIPHETOS ROSE. Kaiserin Agusta Victoria.—A de- sirable rose; has the form of Catharine Mermet. Color pure white with yellow centre. *fad. Hoste.—Highly prized as a cut flower on account of its beautiful buds. Color soft canary yellow shaded at base of petals with amber. A free grower and constant bloomer. flarion Dingee.—One of the best dark colored, ever blooming bedding roses. Flowers good sized, c»p shaped. Color deep crimson changing to carmine when mature. A profuse • bloomer. *Mrs. de Graw.—A fine bedder. flowering from early summer until frost. Flowers large, very fragrant, produced in clusters. Color rich pink. Niphetos.—An old variety, still very popular. One of the best pure white Tea Roses. Bud long and pointed opening into a fine large flower. Highly prized on account of its delicious fra- grance. Papa Gontier. — Popular on ac- count of the size and beautiful form of its buds, which are borne on long stems, making it desira- ble as a cut flower. Color rich carmine. Perle des Jardins.—Probably no other yellow rose is as well known. Of good form; a profuse bloomer; and free grower. Rich yellow. *Pink Soupert.—A handsomely formed rose, double, with a delightful tea fragrance. A profuse bloomer, commencing early and continuing a long time. Safrano.—An old favorite; saffron yeilow changing to fawn; frequently rose tinged. Popular on account of its fragrance and beautiful buds. Souvenir de rial flaison.—Flower large, double and very fragrant, of a bright creamy flesh color. Very satisfactory either as a pot plant or for garden culture. *Souvenir de President Carnot.—One of the latest-varieties from France. A decided acquisition. A strong growing tea with large and handsome leaves. Flower very large, double, of beautiful form, and deliciously fragrant. Color a rose-blush, darker at centre. A free bloomer. Any of above varieties by mail, postpaid, each, 10c; 3 for 25c; 6 for 60c; 12 for $1.00 HARDY CLIMBING ROSES. Empress of China.—A new and very valuable perpetual blooming climber. Com- mences flowering the last of ^Iay and, except under some especially trying cir- cumstances, such as protracted drouth, it will bloom repeatedly till very late in the fall. In vigor of growth it is unsurpassed. The flowers are small but very delicate and waxj-; somewhat fragrant and are borne profusely. The bud is of especially pretty form, being pointed, very shapely, and of just the right size for the buttonhole. The open flower is nearly double, and has much the appearance of a Tea rose. The color is dark red in the bud, and changes as the flower opens and grows older, to a lighter red or pink, like an apple blossom. Each, 15c; 3 for 40c; 6 for 75c Baltimore Belle.—An old favorite; very double; blush white; blooms profusely in large clusters. Greville, or Seven Sisters.—Blooms in clusters, varying in color from white to crimson. nary Washington.—A perpetual bloomer. Flowers of medium size, double, long stemmed, of musky fragrance. Very desirable. Russell's Cottage.—Dark. Velvety crimson; very double; a profuse bloomer. Queen of the Prairie,—An old well-known popular rose. Bright rosy red: large flower. Any of the above five by mail, postpaid, each, 12c; 3 for 35c; 6 for 60c
