Description
English: View of the E.L. Doheny residence, Chester Place, Los Angeles, 1902
Photograph of the gardens and exterior facade of the Category:Doheny Mansion, occupied by the Doheny's (and developer Judge Silent) on Chester Place (near Adams Boulevard), in the University Park district of Los Angeles, 1902.
  • Viewed from the house next door. Several large palms (different varieties) grow in the front yard.
  • The 2-story-plus dwelling with tile roof sports a tower with a hexagonally shaped roof on the front of the house. A walk leads straight up to the house from the street (at right, not visible). A low hedge separates the Doheny property from the house (in the foreground) next door.
