English: Title: Virginia Governor consoles rejected nominee for Virginia federal judgeship. Washington, D.C., Feb. 2. Floyd Roberts, whose nomination by President Roosevelt to be a Federal Judge in Virginia, was adversely reported by the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday, shown with Governor James H. Price of Virginia. Governor Price was to have testified in behalf of Roberts but the Committee went into executive session without calling him. The Senate indicated today they would begin deliberation on the nomination Monday, 2-2-39
