Sascha Wendt, Centre of Geoinformation of the Bundeswehr weather observer, uses a kestrel meter to measure wind speeds during exercise Cadre Focus 16.2 in Grafenwoehr, Germany, Sept. 27, 2016. Cadre Focus 16.2 marked the first time Airmen from the 7th Weather Squadron and 7th Expeditionary Weather Squadron invited NATO partners to Cadre Focus, which allows weather forecasters to train on basic U.S. Army skills such as land navigation, reaction to fire and calling in a medical evacuation.
