He yielded gradually and Ifelt sure of him, but just as I was gatheringall my force to give him a final ynnk, his tailpulled out of my hands with a snap and Isuffered a loss of dignity by roling over inthe mud, while my gun bearer laughed up-roariously. The domestic life of the Nandi is usuallyhappy, especially for the men, who takethings very leisurely around home. Menand women eat separately, the women eatingwhat their lords choose to leave for them.
