Is it really too much to demand of the iPhone to know that when daylight savings happens, Arizona's time does not adjust? My remaining plausible theory is that my iPhone drinks tequila and just gets fuzzy on what it is supposed to be doing. Leaving the settings in automatic mode makes knowing the time in our state a random numbers game. This morning I set my phone alarm for 6am so I;d have time to get to downtown Phoenix by 7, in time to pick up my rstuff for the Phoenix 10k that started at 8:00am. Imagine my surprise when I glanced at my car clock and saw it was 7:45 while my iPhone said it was 6:45. How can that be? It's because Daylight Savings Time happens, and after all these years NO ONE AT APPLE has figured out how to program the darn thing to deal with our time zone.
