MacFarlajse Screech Oavl: Otas asio macfarianel.—A mountedspecimen of the familiar little horned screech owl from 7^ to 10 incheslong may be seen at Lewiss. As it is an owl of the low country, itsquaverhig cry should be listened for at night by campers along theedges of the park. Western Horned Oavl: Bubo virginianus occidentalis.—Thegreat horned owl should be looked for in the more open parts of thepark.
