He built Redstone, 230 miles away on the far side of the Rocky Mountains, as a company town for workers at the ovens that produced coke that fed the fires of the steel plant. Cleveholm, Osgood's 42-room summer home and hunting retreat, was constructed of large stone blocks hand-cut and quarried from the towering cliffs just across the Crystal River.
