Lothian Buses: Volvo B7RLE / Wrightbus Eclipse Urban 1 (58 reg)

English: The fifth (of five) batches of the Volvo B7RLE / Wrightbus Eclipse Urban 1 fleet of buses operated by Lothian Buses. A total of 6 were delivered in September 2008, all bearing 58 registrations (SN58 Bxx). They were assigned fleet numbers beginning at 161, continuing on from batch 4. They were delivered in Harlequin livery, and unlike the previous batches they carried no kind of route branding on it at all (although some of those later had it removed). At least one served in the guided bus fleet (601). They have since been repainted into Classic livery, again without any branding. These were the last of the Urban 1 style to be delivered new to the company - in January 2009 the first of the Urban 2 batch arrived (also with 58 registrations). These were not the last Urban 1 examples in the fleet however - two second hand 55-registered examples arrived in 2011 (No.s 193/4).
