edit{{Edit request}} Following up from discussion here, I'd like to see this message changed to the following:
Wikimedia Commons does not accept filenames that end in the extension ".$1". Please [[Help:Converting video|convert videos]] to an allowed format before uploading, or reference [[Commons:File types|help on other file types]].
