Please change "[{{fullurl:Special:Log|type=delete&page={{FULLPAGENAMEE}}}} Check for '''{{PAGENAME}}''' in the deletion log]" to "[{{fullurl:Special:Log|page={{FULLPAGENAMEE}}}} Check for '''{{PAGENAME}}''' in the logs]" to allow for a more full view of the logs, including creation/upload as well as deletion. Deletion notice

• The part "It is possible this page once existed but was deleted." is not needed anymore, since MediaWiki now displays the deletion log also in view mode for non-existent page (for a long time it was displayed only in edit mode).
• The part "You may wish to check the activity logs for this page.
If you think this file was incorrectly deleted, please request undeletion." should be moved into MediaWiki:Deleted-notice (displayed on view) and MediaWiki:Recreate-deleted-warn (displayed on creation). —AlexSm 20:07, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

I would be glad to find this message, for example when I type by mistake "Category:Helicopter" without "s" in Firefox's search box, selecting Wikimedia Commons as search engine.

Add namespace to search

{{Editprotected}} Sometimes I attempt to type the name of a category or template directly in the url. If I miss it, the page displayed is the one made of this message. Currently, its search link drops the namespace. For some namespaces this leads to searches where the intended namespace isn't even included. To correct this, I'd like to suggest adding the namespace to the search, i.e. change:

[[Special:Search/{{PAGENAMEE}}|search for this page title]]

to

[[Special:Search/{{#ifeq:{{NAMESPACE}}|{{ns:0}}||{{NAMESPACE}}:}}{{PAGENAMEE}}|search for this page title]]
