Wagonway "Little Eaton Gangway" in 1908. Built in 1775 using cast iron profiles for rails, it was the first railway in the world that can be called an "iron way" – as railways are called in most European languages. A "tram" it only can be called in the meaning of a "light railway", though in relation of its age it was not even light.
