Template talk:Lacking insignia source

Insignia does not have the same meaning as coat of arms. Both are symbols, but they are different things. Coats of arms, compared to most of other symbols, have a very specific problem, that goes beyond the problem of source. If we have the blazon of a coat of arms in a source, we should be able to create the coat of arms, but we can still make mistakes in the process. So I suggest the following :

• A template for all symbols (CoAs, insignias, flags...) lacking sources (knowing that for the CoAs, the source can be either a graphic representation or a blazon);
• A template for disputes about the interpretation of the blazon for CoAs.
