ALA logo on wiki pageEdit

I made the case for this overwrite before realizing I could just suggest the change to the original uploader. It boils down to vector > raster. Vector will look better longer and on more systems. Raster is limited and the current .jpg already appears riddled with artifact noise and degraded color.

Again, more links and info on the file's talk page.

I have no idea what this means or why it pertains to me. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 02:06, 29 June 2019 (UTC)
You created the page, although it didn't show up until very recently due to a bug. Standard practice is to notify page creators when pages are nominated for any sort of deletion.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 02:48, 29 June 2019 (UTC)

Request for helpEdit

Mr Hilton and I worked together from 1981 until his death (treasurer, board member). He did not copywrite his materials, they were available to all for broad intellectual discussions. As it was put on the back of his journals "The World Affairs Report may be quoted, providing acknowledgement is given" I just want people to remember Ronald, so how can I best do this with a publication he loved and labored daily? You help is greatly appreciated! A photo of his cover is self evident acknowledgement of his work, what can I add?

What's the source of the document? It looks like you took a photo of an item in your personal collection using your iPhone. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:57, 16 July 2019 (UTC)

That is correct. From my collection of WAR I just grab one and took a picture. The cover had his name, California Institute of International Studies, and World Affairs Report, so I thought I met his acknowledgement.

it's a non-free image. The Commons does not allow non-free images. I will add it to the English Wikipedia and set it up for fair use. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 15:13, 16 July 2019 (UTC)
