About the [GIF_progress] page.

Hi, I am the creator of the page above, which is full of broken links, but until now I noticed that there are missing links. Which were deleted by a bot called CommonsDelinker, which gives this reason for the deletion. Here is only one: ( Removed 乗-order.gif; deleted by Fitindia because: No permission since 10 October 2020. )

Gupta Ynr

Hi, I have just seen this on mobile. Not sure what is going on - mobile is awful - but Gupta Ynr has been adding loads of images at en-WP recently which are claimed to be "own work" but cannot possibly be. I wonder if they have uploaded more since the linked discussion? They are clueless & disruptive at en-WP so maybe won't pay much attention here either. - Sitush (talk) 15:28, 6 August 2021 (UTC)

Hi Fitindia. Can you xheck this file to see if it's the same as File:Dr Georgios Mikellides.jpg that you deleted in October 2020. I was going to tag the file with {{Npd}} because there's no EXIF data or other information provided to support the claim of "own work". The choice of username by the uploader is quite similar to the name of the subject of the photo; so, I guess it's possible that the subject uploaded the photo after the first one was deleted. What to do?

Hi, still on mobile so difficult for me to do anything but this clearly has an incorrect date. Tony Holland died in 2007 & the photo is obviously from decades earlier, not 10 years after his death! My bet is the uploaded is a family member in the UK but highly unlikely to be the person who actually clicked the camera shutter etc. AGF says it is the people it claims to represent but in practice it could be anyone. - Sitush (talk) 16:49, 12 August 2021 (UTC)

Hello, Fitindia; this image was photographed by the subject's mother. She's sent her approval for free use to permissions-he@wikimedia.org (as instructed) as soon as it was flagged for deletion.
