Não manjo muito desse lance de Flickr e Commons, então, venho aqui te incomodar um pouco, pra que desses uma olhada nesse flickr acima, que possui fotos bacanas da Lívia Andrade e do Babado Novo que poderiam ser usada na wiki.pt...

Como funciona? Eu posso salvar as melhores imagens numa boa e carregar no Commons?

Obrigado pelas dicas sobre o flickr, amigo. O que nós wikipedistas podemos fazer é iniciar uma campanha entre os fotógrafos do flickr para que eles licenciem suas fotos no CC. Acho que muita gente nem se dá conta dessa opção e deixa suas fotos com copyright sem perceber. Qual é a vantagem do copyright para um fotógrafo desconhecido? Novo Milênio

Voltei. Com o Novo Milênio aconteceu uma coisa interessante. A primeira foto que eu baixei, da Bete Mendes, tinha um link direto para ela. Dias depois, quando fui baixar outras, vi que com algumas não havia endereço que levasse diretamente a elas. Como era muita coisa, resolvi simplificar, mas agora você me alerta, com razão, que isso pode levar a que queiram apagá-las. Espero que me deem o que até os piores criminosos merecem, direito de defesa. Vou consertando o erro a cada impugnação que me fizerem. --Luferom 02:32, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

It is false

It is not certain, it is a mistake, the image (that I've deleted) is too small.

• Restaurei a imagem Image:Ivete Sangalo.jpg para ver o seu tamanho. Está você errado. É menor (484x731, 71 KB) do que Image:Sangalo999.jpg (600x800, 74 KB). Sendo o nome o suficientemente expressivo, conhecendo que os dados que há na imagem indicam o seu conteúdo, considero importantíssimo ficar com a imagem de maior qualidade, e esta é Image:Sangalo999.jpg.

Presente...

Caramba! Somente agora foi que vi a vossa mensagem!. O motivo foi simples e puramente casual: aquela predef. foi-me "presenteada" pelo amigo Lipe, ao qual, usando o tradutor automático, inseri as mensagens em diversas línguas (depois de uma briga, que houve num verbete na en:wiki - onde me acusaram de usar o Commons pra me promover)...

Como tais mensagens automáticas foram vertidas para o inglês, e dali para os demais idiomas, um monte de erros passou e volta e meia alguém me sugere correções - caso agora de a mensagem em espanhol, que fui a corrigir... Pois, vi a discussão "azulada" e estranhei! Pô, não me deu um toque, na discussão... ficou parecendo descaso! Não posso nem me desculpar!

Mas, confesso que estou mesmo alegre e sem palavras pra agradecer (inclusive pelos elogios)... A única sugestão, e feita em razão dessa briga a que me referi acima, era pra saber se não há como deixar nalguma parte as mensagens multilíngües? No mais, claro que sim! Pode fazer as alterações - e é só me ensinar como devo proceder, já que não compreendo lá muito bem como as coisas aqui se passam...

(ah, e me contata na discussão, pra que receba aquele aviso amarelão de novas mensagens!)

Olá, dado que não sou um contribuinte "eventual" do commons, já tenho mais de duzentas imagens carregadas. Sendo assim, creio que seria legal antes de pôr o aviso de eliminação rápida em Image:Gmassafera2006.jpg, você me enviasse uma mensagem para discutir o probela. Tenho a dizer que a imagem não viola qualquer direito autoral, pois é uma fotografia de uma situação que inclui um banner e não é uma fotografia do banner. O mesmo se passaria com uma fotografia de um parque que contivesse uma escultura ou uma fotografia de uma rua que contivesse um outdoor. My mess on Category:Artists from Brazil/Category:Artists of Brazil

Hello,

We name categories according to the scheme Commons:By location category scheme, notably. Unfortunatly, this document is not very clear and understandable, so I often refer to customs in Commons and in the English Wikipedia.

I don't know why there is a category Category:People of Brazil and not Category:People from Brazil (see Category:People by country for consistency). I assume that it's a subtlety of the English language; as for the politicians categories: very recently, they have been moved from the form “Politicians from <country” to the form “Politicians of <country”.

Musicians, architects and writers are not categorized in Artists categories in Commons. It's purely conventional, since Artist may concern a lot of professionals, as these ones.

Entendo perfeitamente a questão do relevo enciclopédico e sou bastante "conservador" quanto a isso, todavia lá tem sido cada vez comum a criação de artigos sobre personalidades "não-enciclopédicas". Um exemplo comum são os dubladores, pois há mais de mil artigos sobre dubladores sem qualquer obra de maior importância. Sem que um erro não justifica o outro, mas era uma maneira também de fazer uma atribuição mais direta entre as fotos e o autor, visto que ele é o fotógrafo de quase todos os atores e afins que têm artigo na Wikipédia. Humm... I somehow missed the flickr licensing. Sorry. For licensing it under cc-by-2.5, as it's not supported by flickr, I believe it would be ok an otrs message or simply a comment on the flickr image, by the author himself, stating something on the lines of "I hereby release this image under the cc-by-2.5 license...", etc. I link to the license text on the comment would surely help. --Abu badali 20:54, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Inkscape template

Hello,

Is there any official rule for placing the Inkscape template? I always saw it on top of description pages; and I don't see why it should be placed in the information template, and lesser why it deals with authorship (it deals with source of the image)? In fact I always see the Inkscape template outside the information template, on top of the description page, and it seems fine to me (this is only technical and minor information). Sorry for the late reply...I only check my talk page on wikimedia commons when I get notifications in my e-mail telling me its been modified. I wasn't aware of your March 8 messages until just now.

Anyway, I'm not too familar with the OTRS system. What I usually do is e-mail the user on Flickr a request to use the photo under the GNU license, and if they say yes, I forward the messages to wikimedia commons and then its usually archived later by an admin. Hi Abu badali, I've accidentally come across your image:Blindicon.svg... and must admit it instantly reminded me of some old guy with his dog... maybe a cultural thing? Well, so I've just wondered if you might have an idea how to clarify the icon? All I can think of is the armbind with the three dots, but that would be pretty small... and replacing the dog leash with the dog harness might not be clear either... Would you have any ideas? Há aqui um problema. A imagem está no Flickr com uma licença livre e numa outra página protegida por direitos autorais, aparentemente do mesmo fotógrafo. Muitas outras fotos dessa conta do Flickr estão com todos os direitos reservados. Não seria de tentar esclarecer isto com o autor das fotos antes? PatríciaR ^msg 18:51, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Done and done. I have no idea if there's a template for such requests. Commons is a lot less formal than Wikipedia about such things, so I doubt it. A script in your user namespace may stop working in February 2012

Hi Abu badali~commonswiki, I found the deprecated function akeytt somewhere in your user-namespace, e.g. User:Abu badali/monobook.js . It is likely that this will cause JavaScript errors after Commons is updated to MediaWiki 1.19 in February. You can simply remove this function-call as it currently does nothing. If you have a copy of user-messages in your script, you may remove it and instead activate User Messages in your preferences. Please also note that addLink is now natively supported by mw.util.addPortletLink.
