Bonjour,

Je suis l'un des volontaires ayant accès au système OTRS. Une autorisation a effectivement été reçue concernant les fichiers File:France_Chateau_Ochsenstein_Citerne_à_filtration.jpg et File:France_Grand_Château_d'Ochsenstein.jpg mais elle n'est toutefois pas suffisante (pour diverses raisons sur lesquelles je ne m'étalerai pas ici). L'émetteur du courriel a évidemment reçu une réponse détaillée lui expliquant comment résoudre le problème. À lui de faire le nécessaire donc ;)

Merci de ta réponse. Après une semaine, l'avertissement est toujours là -- je suppose que l'auteur n'a pas résolu le problème. Peut-être a-t-il des difficultés à comprendre de quoi il s'agit ? Il a déjà eut des problèmes pour utiliser Commons, et c'est d'ailleurs pour cela que j'ai envoyé ces images moi-même. Tu peux le relancer si tu veux de ton côté, mais les volontaires OTRS n'ont pas vocation à aller à la pêche aux autorisations. Peut-être que le courriel clair lui a fait comprendre qu'il ne voulait pas que Commons utilise ses images

En tout cas, si les fichiers sont supprimés, cela n'empêche pas qu'il envoit ensuite une autorisation : les images seront alors remises en ligne sans qu'aucune ré-importation ne soit nécessaire.--Bapti ✉ 21:50, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Wrtalya est simplement une connaissance qui ne maitrise pas Common, et c'est pour cela que j'ai téléversé sa photographie. Je pensais que le systeme d'OTRS s'appliquait plutot bien ici ? --Pethrus (talk) 02:01, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Le problème, s'il en est un, est qu'il n'est absolument pas possible de faire le lien entre la photo et l'auteur, et dans ce cas, la permission n'a pas ou peu de valeur. Pour préciser ce que dit Bayo, OTRS doit être une sorte de garantie pour confirmer que nous pouvons utiliser sur Commons une image parue ailleurs sur le Web.

À l'inverse, on ne te demande pas d'envoyer une autorisation sur OTRS si tu importes sur Commons une photo que tu as faites (on présume ta bonne foi quand tu indiques que c'est une œuvre personnelle, les métadonnées ou encore la qualité de l'image pouvant aider à te croire). Ici, il s'agit d'une image d'un contributeur de Wikipédia que tu as importé pour lui, donc on est plutôt dans ce cas de figure.

À la rigueur, tu peux ajouter un mot comme « Wrtalya m'a demandé d'importer cette image pour lui, vu qu'il ne maîtrise pas Wikimedia Commons » sur la page de discussion de File:France Haut-Koenigsbourg aerial view.jpg pour expliquer pourquoi ce n'est pas l'auteur directement qui a importé l'image. Mais envoyer un mail à OTRS ne sert à rien, d'autant que comme l'explique Bayo, on ne peut pas confirmer l'inconfirmable...--Bapti ✉ 12:29, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Difficile de conclure quoi que ce soit en matières de droits d'auteur... Mais oui, tu peux retenir qu'un passage par OTRS n'est généralement nécessaire que quand l'image a été publiée auparavant. Il est néanmoins possible qu'on demande une autorisation dans d'autres cas, notamment si on n'est pas certain d'avoir affaire à l'auteur de la photo : par exemple si un contributeur publie une photo a priori inédite mais se présente comme photographe de renom (Yann Arthus-Bertrand par exemple).--Bapti ✉ 16:20, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Ce système existe : c'est la confiance... Quand tu importes une photo en indiquant en être l'auteur, c'est la confiance qui incite les autres contributeurs à te croire sur parole.

Le système OTRS est indispensable quand cette confiance ne suffit plus : une personne indique être une personnalité connue, une personne copie son site sur Wikipédia, etc--Bapti ✉ 19:55, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Hi,

You asked me about the author of this picture that I uploaded from English WP. You asked me if I made a spelling error since you cannot find him. It is quite a while ago that I uploaded and I did not know the author, so I cannot tell you if there was a misspelling. However I doubt that I made a mistake as usually I copy and paste the ditails when I do such an upload. I tried to check with the original file in English WP but it seems it was deleted after the administrator have noticed that it was now in Commons. I don't know how to prodeed further unless you can find the original file in English but I can assure you it was a legitimate upload as the details about the photos are found at the bottom of the file. J'ai effectivement travaillé avec un fichier vectoriel .svg que j'ai encore en ma possession, mais en utilisant un modèle trouvé dans un livre qui diffère légèrement de la carte de Paul Vidal de La Blache. Tu n'as pas manqué de constaté que le territoire d'outre-Rhin (Thuringien...) n'est pas incorporé dans la version que j'ai publiée. OTRS

Salut Bapti,

Je viens de voir ta modif sur France Brie-Comte-Robert church floor plan.png ; il semblerait que j'ai à nouveau mal compris une partie du processus OTRS.

Cette image a été crée par ledit Michel Piechaczyk, qui a donné sa permission à la réutilisation par courriel, et à qui j'ai demandé d'envoyer un message au système OTRS. J'ai envoyé cette image sur Commons avant d'avoir reçu l'autorisation OTRS pour pouvoir lui indiquer le lien de l'image dans le courriel, et j'ai apposé le bandeau OTRS pending. Il n'y a aucune erreur de ta part sur Wikimedia Commons : tu as importé tout à fait correctement le fichier. Simplement, l'autorisation envoyée sur OTRS n'a pu être validée : l'interlocuteur a reçu une réponse détaillée lui expliquant ce qu'il devait faire pour corriger les problèmes en question. Il n'y a rien de plus à faire pour le moment mais surtout pas d'autorisation valide pour ce fichier. D'où ma modification.--Bapti ✉ 17:11, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

PS : Si le fichier est supprimé le temps qu'une autorisation valide arrive, il pourrait être remis en ligne directement.

Atlas of conflicts

Je me permets de te recontacter à propos d'un autre problème d'autorisations : de nombreuses cartes proviennent d'un site nommé "Atlas of conflicts" et sont indiquées "copyright© Andrew Andersen". Sur la page de ces images, on peut voir une copie d'un e-mail d'autorisation. Toutefois ces autorisations me semblent un peu faibles, l'e-mail précisant "l'usage sur Wikipédia" et les cartes conservant la mention "©Andrew Andersen". Bref, en tant qu'expert-OTRS — à mes yeux au moins, saurais-tu m'indiquer si ces cartes sont effectivement admissibles sur Commons et si je peux en réaliser des version vectorielle sans crainte de les voir effacées du jour au lendemain ? --Pethrus (talk) 11:38, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Effectivement, une autorisation via OTRS semble nécessaire car ces images sont copiées d'un site Web. Le courriel qui est recopiée sur File:Geor bahrat A.jpg a bien été envoyé au système OTRS en juillet 2007 (ticket #2007071110003905) mais la personne a reçu une réponse lui expliquant qu'une telle autorisation ne pouvait être considérée comme valide. Donc tu peux apposer {{subst:npd}} sur ces images et enjoindre le site à envoyer une autorisation du type Commons:Messages type. Cordialement--Bapti ✉ 12:03, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Ça me semble être une fausse idée ;) S'il fallait évoquer tous les problèmes qui peuvent se poser sur OTRS, cette page ne serait plus courte et simple comme elle tente de l'être actuellement. Les volontaires OTRS vérifient une liste de points pour chaque autorisation avant de la valider : s'il y a un problème (par exemple sur l'identité de la personne qui nous contacte), on explique comment le résoudre dans le cas précis (genre "envoyez-nous un mail depuis XXX"). Mais chaque cas est très différent (et les problèmes d'adresses mail sont assez marginaux) donc COM:OTRS reste très général.--Bapti ✉ 10:10, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Il ne s'agit pas vraiment de "statues" mais de gisant, mais représentant Jésus (et non une personne décédée). Centre commercial caserne de Bonne

Bonjour Pethrus,

Sur la photo File:Centre commercial de la caserne de Bonne - Grenoble.JPG, j'avais placé la remarque suivante car elle avait été supprimée :

"La représentation d'une œuvre située dans un lieu public n'est licite que lorsqu'elle est accessoire par rapport au sujet principal représenté ou traité." L'objet principal de cette photo est le jardin, pas l'immeuble en arrière plan qui représente moins de 25% de la superficie de la photo! Il n'est donc pas question de supprimer cette photo. Avis aux chasseurs de FOP qui interprètent trop sévèrement la loi.

Je voudrais savoir ce que tu en penses car une nouvelle demande de suppression est faite.

Salut Milky,

Sache d'abord que je trouve l'absence de liberté de panorama en France très dommageable. Mais puisqu'il ne m'appartient pas de faire changer la loi, Commons doit s'y plier, il en va de la crédibilité du projet et jusqu'à son existence.

Parallèlement à ce besoin tout législatif, je trouve vraiment dommage que de nombreux contributeurs méritants se donnent du mal à envoyer des photographies de bâtiments modernes pour qu'elles soient ensuite supprimées (pas forcément tout de suite, mais une ou plusieurs années ensuite). Si je propose la suppression de certaines de ces photographies, c'est aussi pour signaler à leurs auteur le problème du "no-FOP" et éviter de leur faire perdre du temps à l'avenir.

Enfin, il existe évidemment différentes façons d’interpréter cette loi. Dans ce cas précis, il est vrai que le bâtiment occupe une place significative, même si non majoritaire - mais je ne suis pas juriste, et ce n'est qu'un simple avis profane. Je serai donc plutôt en faveur de la suppression, mais je suis bien sûr ouvert à toute argumentation contraire.

Merci d'abord pour ta réponse. j'ai bien compris depuis des années la loi etc... Mais je voulais soulever le problème de l'interprétation de cette loi. Concrètement, jusqu'à quelle distance dois-je me reculer pour prendre une photo en direction d'un bâtiment pour qu'elle soit acceptée par les admins de commons. 100m, 400m, 1000m. A la limite, mettre sur commons une photo prise depuis la Bastille de Grenoble en haute définition devrait être interdit puisqu'on peut voir tous les bâtiments récents. Non, je pense que dans les cas limites comme cette photo, le doute devrait profiter au contributeur et les photos en gros plan (+ de 66% de la largeur) doivent effectivement être supprimées.

Tu soulignes de façon pertinente un problème fondamental. Comme tu as du le voir, la loi (textes et jurisprudence) laisse justement dans le flou cette limite : elle précise qu'il faut que l'objet soit "accessoire", mais cet accessoire peut devenir fondamental après un recadrage/zoom (d'où le bandeau NoFoP-France, apposé par exemple sur Louvre at night centered.jpg). Par ailleurs, elle indique également que la présence de l'objet doit être non-intentionnelle.

Je pense que malgré tout nous pouvons juger de l'admissibilité sur Commons à partir de ces deux points :

• L'objet sous copyright doit occuper une part très faible de l'image (sur l'exemple de la pyramide du Louvre, c'est à la louche 1/40ème). Je pense que d'une manière générale, en-dessous de 1/20, on peut considérer sans crainte que l'objet est accessoire. Au-dessus, ça peut se discuter (et se traiter au cas par cas par proposition de suppression).
• La présence de l'objet doit (vraiment) être non-intentionnelle. C'est bien sûr parfois difficile à vérifier, mais si par exemple le titre d'une image comporte le nom de l'objet, il est difficile d'affirmer que sa présence n'est pas intentionnelle.

Bref, ce sont des critères assez personnels – mais qui évoluent au fur et à mesure des discussions que je lis ici. Donc n'hésites pas à me corriger sur tel ou tel point ou simplement à me signaler pourquoi tu n'es pas d'accord.

Hello,

The Ethiopian Empire never streched that far. The Sudan region was under control of Nubia and then the Ottoman Empire, wich fell under the Egyptian khevive. And other parts of Southeast South Sudan was under control of Funj, Shilluk and the Azande. Djibouti and Northwest Somalia was dominated by the Adal Sultanate. The Ethiopians never reached the coast of Somalia, the Warsangali Sultanate ruled that area. There are no sources that could suppport that the Ethiopian Empire ruled the entire northern interior of Somalia, and large parts of South Sudan. It was then until Menelik II, that the Ethiopian Empire conquered an area 3 times his size. And that was in the 19th century, and that area is now known as the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. So could you adjust the borders of this map. Regards. Yes that one is pretty accurate, Menelik 'created' an Empire nearly equal to the modern boders, but the eastern parts of the Ogaden were ceded to Ethiopia by Britian after the second World War, not actually conquered. Runehelmet (talk) 14:45, 26 June 2012 (UTC)

The Eastern part looks good, but the Empire actually never reached so close to the modern Sudanese-Egyptian border in the North. The Empire controlled modern day Eritrea, the borderline between Sudan and Ethiopia and the Eastern part of South Sudan at its zenith. Actually is the current border between South Sudan and Etiopia nearly the same as it was between Ottoman Sudan and Ethiopia. The Empire did not extended far north of the Eritrean-Sudanese border, the area now known as the Red Sea state and Kassala. Merci pour votre information rapide et utile. C'est très bien que vous me contactiez, je voulais également vous écire un mot. J'étais passé faire des photos à Pfettisheim, le jour d'ouverture de l'église en août, dans le cadre des "Eglises ouvertes". J'y ai rencontré une personne que vous connaissez bien. Si vous avez d'autres précisions à m'apporter au sujet de cette église, surtout n'hésitez pas.

J'ai photographié toute une série d'églises d'Alsace, et je n'ai pas fini. Cette année, je me suis surtout attelé au Kochersberg. Je n'ai pas encore fini de téléverser les fichiers. Il y aura encore Kuttolsheim, Willgottheim, Ittlenheim, Truchtersheim et les chapelles de Kuttolsheim, Gougenheim et Pfettisheim. Bien sûr, il y en aura d'autres l'année prochaine. J'ai remarqué que vous avez pris des photos à Avenheim. En avez-vous d'autres ? ou d'autres lieux de cultes ? ou des photos des villages du Kochersberg ?

J'ai également créé des galeries sur ces églises. Je pense les renvoyer dans la catégorie Kochersberg. Comme cela: ::http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Kochersberg

Du temps où j'avais créé cette image, plusieurs "moteurs de rendu" étaient proposé sur OSM. Je ne me souviens plus bien de celui que j'avais choisi (peut-être Osmarender ?), mais ce n'était probablement pas celui qui est désormais proposé par défaut. La page http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/SVG semble indiquer des pistes pour utiliser d'autres moteurs de rendu.

J'ai regardé mais soit j'obtiens soit un fichier trop lourd (plusieurs Mio, mon ordinateur rame à ouvrir de tels fichiers), soit pour une raison ou une autre cela ne fonctionne pas (je suis sous Ubuntu et Maperative notamment ne veut pas s'installer correctement…).

Du coup, pourrais-je te demander de créer un fichier SVG pour la commune de Category:Bruz ? (juste le fichier brut, le reste je saurais m’en débrouiller ; cf. ce fichier File:Réseaux ferrés en Bretagne.svg que je viens de nettoyer).

Le concours Wiki Loves Monuments France est de retour et ouvert jusqu'à 31 septembre ! Déjà 8310 photos ont été importés cette année, vous aussi rejoignez le concours !

Le concours concerne tous les monuments présents dans la base Mérimée (qu'ils soient classés, inscrits ou simplement classés). De l'imposant château aux ruines industrielles, de la chapelle au coin de la rue aux mégalithes en forêt, c'est un impressionnant patrimoine qui attend d'être photographié et documenté. Où que vous soyez il y a des monuments autour de chez vous. Enfin, vous pouvez mettre en ligne autant de photos que vous le souhaitez de ces monuments. Pour information, le règlement est disponible sur le site du concours. Nous attendons vos photos avec impatience !

Les plus belles photos seront sélectionnées par un jury national composé d'amateurs et de professionnels, de contributeurs à Wikimedia Commons et d'acteurs du patrimoine. Un jury international sélectionnera ensuite des meilleures photographies mondiales.

Le concours Wiki Loves Monuments France est ouvert pour une semaine encore, jusqu'au 30 septembre. Déjà plus de 6 000 photos ont été importées cette année alors vous aussi rejoignez le concours ! Cette campagne de contribution concerne tous les monuments et objets mobiliers présents dans la base Mérimée et dans la base Palissy. De l'imposant château aux ruines industrielles, de la verrière décorative au reliquaire, c'est un impressionnant patrimoine qui attend d'être photographié et documenté. Vous pouvez dès à présent mettre en ligne autant de photos que vous le souhaitez de ces monuments et objets du patrimoine français. Nous attendons vos photos avec impatience !

Les plus belles photos seront sélectionnées par un jury national composé d'amateurs et de professionnels, de contributeurs à Wikimedia Commons et d'acteurs du patrimoine. Un jury international constituera ensuite une sélection des meilleures photographies mondiales.

Basic way to credit it would by "Stations of the Cross, Pfettisheim church, Alsace, France, CC-BY-SA Pethrus", but I do not mind at all if it is easier or more appropriate not to mention any credit. Use of image of French Cuts of Beef (with text names of cuts)

I am writing a book for management consultants about problem solving. I would like to use an example of different ways to carve a cow. I have permissions for the English and American cuts but would like permission to use your French example as well. I am retired and am self-publishing. I don't expect to sell more than a hundred copies. I would also like to put the image on a website (and expect few visitors!). I am new to using wikipedia (other than to browse).
