De-flag
Following the first and second bot de-flagging run, User:Fæ performed an analysis of bot activity, and provided a list of bots without edits in the last 2 years.
While we do not have a local bot de-flagging policy as of yet, this follows the precedent set in the first two deflagging runs, where we tentatively agreed to remove bot flags from accounts unused for a period as significant as two years.
As is the case with inactivity run for sysops, Each and every owner of this request will be informed by posting a message on their talk page and sending them an e-mail.
The following 21 accounts are flagged as bots and have been inactive for more than two years:

- Info All bot owners have now been notified about this request through a talk page notification. --Dschwen (talk) 19:59, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
- I am currently planning to use DerbethBot to link "other versions" in pronunciation files. --Derbeth talk 20:20, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
- Comment No-one has requested the service of SlaungerBot recently to replace transcluded user license templates with templates, which are aligned with our policy the last two years. Should someone request it, I am still ready to help out. I have also used the Bot in July 2012 for some data analysis, where it was only reading data in order to create graphs like this. I am sympathetic regarding the idea to de-activate the account for now, and then request re-activation again if a need arises. -- Slaunger (talk) 20:25, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
- CommentThanks for your attention in my talk page about this section! You can remove my bot's (Amolbot) flag. He is retired ;) --MehdiTalk 20:27, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
- Comment You can de-flag AvicBot. He's unlikely to have any real work in the near future. Thanks for the heads up. sısɐuuǝɔıʌ∀ (diskuto) 17:41, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
- For the record User:Bennylin set the status of his/her bot in the table to Owner agreed to remove the flag in this edit. I have removed the flag accordingly. It would be more transparent if the bot owners just left a signed comment (like most people above did). The Done template should only be set by the crat that actually removes the flag. --Dschwen (talk) 15:41, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
- Looking through the history I found another one. Now really Done, flag removed. --Dschwen (talk) 15:02, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
- I have abandoned the account of Lavallen and edit sporadically as Innocent bystander today. I am therefor today the owner of the Innocent bot-account. (Can be confirmed by users from svwp, for example Lokal Profil.) I do not plan to edit anywhere as a botowner again. That also includes my bot-accounts as Innocent iwbot, Innocent robot and Lavallen2. I cannot remember that I have used any of these accounts here at Commons, but I have been wrong before. -- Innocent bystander (talk) 07:34, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks. The deletion log of your user page on sv.wp confirms this (14 april 2009 kl. 15.21 MagnusA (Diskussion | Bidrag) raderade sidan Användare:Innocent bystander (Trasig omdirigering. innehållet var: '#REDIRECTAnvändare:Lavallen' (den enda som skrivit var 'Lavallen'))). I will remove the flags. --Dschwen (talk) 14:50, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
- The other accounts you mentioned did not have a bot flag by the way. --Dschwen (talk) 14:53, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
- Tack! I can confirm that also Innocent timebot is my bot, but it is unflaged and apparently not even activated here. -- Innocent bystander (talk) 19:39, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
- I sent the remaining bot operators who haven't responded to the talk page message an email. Two of the bot operators have disabled the send email thingie in their preferences. I consider this not acceptable for a bot operator (well.. granted, they haven't been operating much lately ;-). --Dschwen (talk) 15:10, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
- You can deflag my bot User:Emijrpbot. emijrp (talk) 15:11, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
- YarluFileBot will be used in the future, but rather not near future, so you can remove flag for now. Yarl ✉ 15:24, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks to both of you. In case you need to re-request the flag, please point to this page. --Dschwen (talk) 15:27, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
- Please keep the flags. I don't like to have to jump all the hoops again. Multichill (talk) 17:56, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
- Two of your bot accounts haven't been used for 3.5 and 5 years! --Dschwen (talk) 21:35, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
- Just a plea here, but there some of us working to get Highway Route Marker Bot reactivated here in the near future. We have a copy of the bot and could resume running it once we resolve a glitch. We also have a task for it to create dozens of missing highway markers for the US state of Kentucky, which has thousands of highways and hundreds of missing graphics. - Ok, sounds good. Besides the source code, do you have access to the bot account? Is User:Svgalbertian still around? If not I will deflag the bot and we can have an expedited reflagging process for the new account (using the same sourcecode). --Dschwen (talk) 22:45, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
- I am still around. I haven't been running the bot as it was more manual work on my side then I was expecting. I haven't ruled out running it again or transitioning it to someone else so let's keep it flagged. --Svgalbertian (talk) 22:40, 20 November 2014 (UTC)

- My 'bot' account was set up for me to use AWB at edit rates that exceed accepted levels of user edits (mostly categorisation diffusion). Whilst my editing has been sporadic for the last couple of years, it is likely that I will return to this at some point in the future. I request that the flag remains. Should it be removed, I will take this as agreement that should I ask for it to be reinstated prior to my next editing spree, then either it will be promptly reinstated without further requirement (in particular with no requirement to jump through the hoops of a bot approval process, alternatively that a bot flag is not required to perform AWB edits at bot editing rates. Please note there is no custom code associated with this account, just an editor operating AWB. Cheers, AusTerrapin 16:28, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
- Who are you? --Dschwen (talk) 17:22, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
- Ok, you get the same "offer" as anyone in this thread, which is an expedited re-flag process. For AWB this should not be problematic, unless you've been inactive on this wiki for a long time (we'd like to see that you are still familiar with the rules here). --Dschwen (talk) 15:53, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- Comment You can remove the flag of MenoBot. Thank you. --Meno25 (talk) 05:57, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
- Atm User:Picasa Review Bot 2 is running, therefore i think we can de-flag User:Picasa Review Bot. --Steinsplitter (talk) 16:24, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
