There is a slight "shadow" behind the statue against the sky. It could be caused by dragging the "details" slider on certain postprocessing software, but it could also be caused by manual burning. In any case, it's rather subtle I think. dllu (t,c) 07:59, 14 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That was what I was talking about. Thanks for the clarification on how it can come about ... my understanding had always been that it resulted from oversharpening (of course, dragging the details slider too far is arguably the same thing by another name).
