- Comment - I certainly won't stand in this photo's way, as it's a very good fruit photo. I may be unique in finding the background, which is so blurred as to be unidentifiable except by inference as, presumably, the rest of the tree, to be distracting, but I suppose if the fruits are in perfect focus, that kind of thing will happen. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:30, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Ikan Kekek: It's intentional in this sort of macro image—see bokeh. Daniel Case (talk) 03:17, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, Daniel. I guess, to my taste, this is somewhat unpleasant or at least slightly distracting bokeh. However, as I said, I won't stand in the way of this photo being featured. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:48, 13 December 2015 (UTC)

- Support As Ikan says, perfect detail on the fruit. Daniel Case (talk) 03:17, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose There's no "wow" to this picture. While it is encyclopedic and reasonably well executed, the plant is not interesting to look at. The upper fruit is not in perfect focus, and I'm not a huge fan of the background with a distracting spot on the bottom left for example. dllu (t,c) 07:12, 13 December 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose Per dllu. Also, I don't really dig the lighting (my guts keep telling me that the whole image is rotated 90° clock-wise) and agree with Ikan Kekek when it comes to bokeh (To me it looks like medium length lawn in the background, which makes me think of a garden, which in turn is like a zoo for plants: unnatural. I know, I know, it's a cultivar, so the environment makes sense – but I'm talking about aesthetics here). --El Grafo (talk) 12:39, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
