Comment Thanks Pine for the nom. It is an extremely rare dragonfly. It is assumed (we have no data so far) that they lay eggs in rain water collected in small holes and canals. I observed the mating and egg laying process near my home; which is the only record and observation of that process so far. We all including odonatists from Kerala are waiting for next June to see it again! Their adults are only recorded in June-July from the other place (Kannur, Kerala) too.
