Benh, Yes I think there is a very little yellow cast, and it very likely comes from a "skylight filter" preset that I added with Photoshop, but I think it add more than what he takes away as regard to the mood. For the crop I like this one but I can always listen about suggestions, however be aware that I'm unable since a few years to see notes added to images... I still don't understand why, therefore you will have to find a way to describe it to me... or to upload it yourself. Christian Ferrer (talk) 14:59, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
This? - Benh (talk) 15:49, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Benh: in some way your version is clearly improved, and thanks you for your time... It seems to be an improvment either as regard to the crop 1/3 sky which make the city more imortant, or as regard to the color/contrast which gives obviously more relief.... but I always have difficulty with pano-like formats, I always feel like we cut the photo with scissors and when I compare both I prefer to keep the sky. For the colour/contrast I would tend to modify my version towards yours, maybe not as much though as the water seems a bit too purple. But I did not manage to get close of what you did, may I ask what you did exactly? Christian Ferrer (talk) 16:55, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Christian Ferrer Glad you liked it. I used a gradient filter on the bottom part, and applied a color tint shift toward the pinks, and played a bit with the color temperature. I also tweaked contrast/saturation, but only to a mild extent. I hope you'll get better results from the RAW. - Benh (talk) 18:14, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Benh: Great, thanks you, I uploaded a new version. I followed your except that I went towards the blue rather than the pink, did I do too much? is it an improvement? Christian Ferrer (talk) 19:08, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
To me it looks aesthetically better, but I wonder if the see shouldn't blend more with the sky like it did originally? It's supposed to reflect it after all... not easy... I guess that was why I shift it toward pink rather than blue. Maybe seek other opinions? - Benh (talk) 19:58, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Benh: no the water was not pink, I am going to send you by mail a link where you can see the unedited unscalled file, I wanted to put the link here but I got an error message "Error: The text you wanted to publish was blocked by the spam filter..."   Comment Don’t want to interfer with your conversation, but just as a side note: In the current version (upload 23:11, 30 December 2021) the city at the bottom left seems a little bit too greenish to me, therefore I would try to shift the colour balance a little bit towards pink, a little bit more like in Benh’s version, at least for the city ... --Aristeas (talk) 08:11, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
