- Description : Video of the Aurora Australis taken by the crew of Expedition 29 on board the International Space Station. This sequence of shots was taken September 18, 2011 from 11:54:56 to 12:18:33 GMT, on an ascending pass from south of Australia in the Southern Pacific Ocean to the Northern Pacific Ocean, west of Central America. A few shooting stars can also be seen in this long video. The glow from inside of the cabin is seen throughout the video near the solar panels.

This is a composition I made for an article I wrote, walking through the bassline, chord progression, and melody of w:Pachelbel's Canon as applied across multiple genres, to illustrate the piece's versatility. The original recording has been on the en.Wikipedia page since 2014, and 10 years later I decided the audio (recorded using a very dull mic in a non-sound-proofed room) could be enhanced significantly with Adobe's tools for quality and audibility, and added sound effects (Creative Commons 0 licensed) for atmosphere.
