Support This file is used in 50 articles on 17 sister projects. Should it be geotagged with the location of the Library of Congress (since that seems to be the location of the original document)? We appear to have only one geotagged file for the Library of Congress, File:Library of Congress.jpg. The Library is a location that is more notable for its contents than its structure. Criterion 5 excludes illustrations. This illustration doesn't appear to be rare, but for the Magna Carta or the Declaration of Independence, for example, the location of the original may add value to an image. Support this pic as VI. I remember i've seen a representation of this pic on a flag here, but i'm not sure... Something else as Comment : what is the purpose of geocoding ? It's useful for landscapes or monuments (immobilis) or for location of animals etc... But for usual objects or documents (mobilis) it seems useless and a "nonsense" to me, unless Walter Siegmund's examples (I agree with his opinion). The question could be asked for persons, too. Not sure a geocode is relevant in every case. Following rules with intelligence is not forbidden, even in "Commons", I hope.--Jebulon (talk) 00:07, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Question Is it really a drawing (or an idea for a drawing) by Benjamin Franklin himself as the scope suggests, or attributed to B.F. ? --Jebulon (talk) 00:14, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It was published as part of a signed editorial by him, in a newspaper he owned and he is pretty much universally named as the creator. Adam Cuerden (talk) 15:34, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
