Scope | Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope: Henri Regnault Photographic portrait |
Used in | Henri Regnault |
Reason | New photograph of a character in "Commons", therefore alone in scope. Henri Regnault was a young french orientalist painter at the end of the french Second Empire. As a soldier during the Franco-Prussian War, he was killed in action, aged 27, at the second Battle of Buzenval (1871). No geocode, it is a studio shot, same for restoration (by me). Original is available as first upload, as usual. -- Jebulon (talk) |
